Keeper Sturgeon

Keeper sturgeon on the Columbia River is a very popular fishery due  to the excellent table fare and fast action. Days of 40-50 fish are common. Each impoundment on the Columbia has it’s own quota. For retention, size limits are dependent for each impoundment as well. The upper Columbia season starts January 1st and will remain open until the quota is met. January is our keeper season.
